Custom Cadences in Match Programs
The Allow Custom Frequency toggle is a tool that enables an admin to permit members to choose to meet more or less often than the frequency chosen by an admin. An admin can turn on/off Allow Custom Frequency at any time.
To edit your Allow Custom Frequency setting,
1. Go to your Admin tab, select Match Programs
2. Select the Match Program you would like to edit (or Create New if it’s a new program)
3. Scroll down to the Match Date section, and toggle the setting on/off
When Allow Custom Frequency is turned on:
Members will see this menu when they participate in a match program, or go back to edit their Match Frequency preferences for a match program.
When members choose to participate less often than the admin has set the program, they will always meet on the designated match date - but not as often.
When members choose to participate more often than the admin has set the program, they will be sent match notifications more frequently - and meet with people who have chosen a setting that will result in them meeting on that same day. This may mean that on some match dates, there will be a smaller pool of members to match with and an admin may need to manage expectations or questions that arise more frequently.
When Allow Custom Frequency is turned off:
Members will see this menu when they participate in a match program, or go back to edit their Match Frequency preferences for a match program. Members will only be able to pause matches.
